We are a general incorporated foundation established to form and develop a sports-centered ecosystem together with all stakeholders. In promoting the clarification of rights, creation of social value, and digital transformation, we will prepare new rules and consider the best method of creating a system in which funds and human resources circulate.

Throughout the world, the values and roles that sports produce are rapidly changing because of technological developments. Sports are making significant contributions not only to development as an industry but also to realization of a sustainable society. As for Japan’s sports, in recent years, athletes’ global impact has been dramatic, attention from around the world is increasing, and there are high expectations for industrialization. However, there are insufficiencies of information about global standards and human resources related to sports, and Japan’s sports are facing many tasks amid a situation in which the expected growth curve is not being drawn. Sports inherently have an aspect of being a business related to rights, and therefore it is important to organize the ideal situation for the rights surrounding sports and build a foundation for expanding the industry by using rightsholders as the starting point. Systematizing global-standard integrity will lead to protecting athletes from various types of risks and infringement of rights. The Council will move forward with the aim of development of sustainable sports, and we sincerely anticipate further unity and integration of all stakeholders.
