The Council for Sports Ecosystem Promotion put together a Sports Digital Transformation Fact Book and publicly released it today.

The purposes of this report are to introduce cutting-edge examples in sports digital transformation for the world and Japan, and thereby discover and create sports’ new values and share them widely throughout society.

Various examples are introduced below from three perspectives.

1. Improvement of fan engagement – Enjoyment of new support and spectator experiences
2. Improvement of the values of data and rights, and creation of new sales channels – Generation of new business
3. Preparation of new sports entertainment and environments – Bringing about new sports experiences

From now on as well, we plan to collect and update, whenever necessary, examples of sports digital transformation, which is evolving on a daily basis.
